White Building Residency Artist: Sam Ashby

Sam Ashby is the Editor and Publisher of Little Joe Magazine, a magazine that explores queer culture and cinema from the fringes of society. Ashby will be bringing the Little Joe Magazine to Hackney Wick, developing a publication focused on the intersections of queer culture, technology and sustainability, and a series of public programmes.

Sam Ashby is an internationally recognised writer, designer and publisher. He is the founder of Little Joe Magazine; the world’s leading queer zine dedicated to cinema at the margins of society and is responsible for developing Little Joe’s associated public pro- grammes.
