Black Science: Visions of the Future was a programme of three events celebrating Afrofuturism, bohemianism and science fiction within black culture. Created by Critical Minds in association with SPACE as part of Black History Month 2004, Black Science looked at how the future has been and is visualised by black artists through film, music and dialogue.
Kodo Eshun gave a talk at the Triangle on 27 October 2004, discussing Sun Ra’s Space is the place (directed by John Coney) and Last angel of history (directed by John Akomfrah).
