Cigarette will be gone soon,

Cigarette is guilty, has apologized a thousand times. 

There is no place for cigarette,


In a smoke-free world.

Cigarette will be gone soon,

Banished and extinguished, now cigarette is out.

Smoke smoke smoke smoooo,

no odour, no oduur.

No Oduur materializes and era that was, A romance that lasted, but went up in smoke. 

Comprising three-dimensional and textile objects, No Oduur is Marlie Mul’s debut solo exhibition in a UK institution. A thematic publication featuring written contributions from Morag Keil, Sidsel Meineche Hansen, Valentina Liernur, Nicolas Ceccaldi, Lena Tutunjian, Timo Feldhaus, Jack Self and Mark Cousins will accompany the exhibition.

Marlie Mul is a Dutch artist currently based in London and Berlin. She received a Masters Degree in Architectural Theory from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London in 2009 and a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht.

Mul is co-initiator of the online artists PDF publishing platform and teaches at the Architectural Association in London. Recent solo exhibitions are “No Oduur” at STUDIO in Berlin, and “Your Wet Sleeve in My Neck” at Galerie Lucile Corty in Paris.

Recent group exhibitions are “Grouped Show” at Tanya Leighton Gallery in Berlin, “Rhododendron” at W139 in Amsterdam, “Rhododendron II” at SPACE in London, and “The Smart Frrridge (Chilly Forecast for Internet Fridge)” at Kunstverein Medienturm in Graz, Austria.
