Electric Drawing at The White Building

12 Oct 2013

The Big Draw event in October this year focused on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the artists and arts organisations working around the edge.

SPACE ran Electric Drawing workshops with Codasign. Over 250 visitors started their journey at the White Building and created ‘Electric Drawings’ using Bare Conductive ink and LEDs to paint electrical circuits. All ages took part, from grandparents to babies, making light up badges and drawings.

The Big Draw season (1-31 October) is organised by The Campaign for Drawing http://www.campaignfordrawing.org/home/index.aspx and is now a regular feature in UK cultural and educational calendars. The aim is to show that drawing can be a positive collaborative activity as well as a private passion.
