SPACE and The Legacy List invited artists and teachers to explore the plans and ideas for our Transition based Summer School for Yrs 6 and 7 in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and artists’ studios.

The evening included:
• Claire Gevaux, Head of Creative Programmes, The Legacy List, and Fiona Fieber, Head of Learning & Participation, SPACE, introduce the Summer School and proposals for 2014.
• Lyn French, director of A Space, on transition and creativity
• Codasign (artists and technologists, Summer School ’13) demo
• Guided visit to nearby SPACE artists’ studios
Pizza and drinks were provided.
This was a great opportunity for east London teachers, educationists and artists to discuss Transition and creativity as well as gaining advance notice and finding out how to become involved in the 2014 Summer School.
