O.T. 968 – Stefan Reiss Artist Talk

Join artist Stefan Reiss and technologist Bas van Oerle as they discuss the digital and creative processes behind O.T.968. The talk will include an exploration of camera detectors and particle animation, as well as how they are used to track and record people’s movement through spaces. Stefan and Bas will also explore the process of projection mapping, the means by which artists create complex projected art on public buildings of all shapes and sizes. 

Followed by a visit to the artwork and artist-led demonstration.

Stefan Reiss' work is a research into the fields of drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, projection and performance. By developing specific works for different mediums he unfolds a complexity of contextual relations, materials and practices, tracing back to the basis of all his works: the straight line.

O.T. 968 will be on display outside Redbridge Town Hall, 128 – 142 High Road Ilford IG1 1DD from 6pm – 10pm Thu 15 – Sat 24 March
