Bloomberg ON Studio Award 2011: Patrick Staff

Patrick Staff was the recipient of the inaugural SPACE / Bloomberg ON annual studio award.

He received the 1 year use of a Haymerle Road Studio, rent and electricity free.

The Bloomberg ON Studio Award aims to support emerging artists at a crucial stage in their career, giving them both the time and the resources to hone and develop their professional practice. By providing artists with a free, well-equipped space in which to work, the Studio Award offers support both in the form of studio provision and through offering access to the dialogue present within a thriving artist community.

Staff went on to exhibit at SPACE in early 2012, and has numerous exhibitions lined up in the near future, including a piece in the Whitstable Biennale in September 2012 and the much anticipated 'Chewing Gum for the Social Body' for The Tanks, Tate Modern in October 2012.
