Bring Your Own Performance (BYOP) 2019
SPACE Bring Your Own Performance (BYOP) was a DIY one-night-only exhibition of performances presented alongside and in negotiation with other artists. This event coincided with the opening of Sophie Seita’s My Little Enlightenment Plays, an interdisciplinary performative project presenting imaginary conversations with Enlightenment thinkers, writers and scientists. Sophie Seita will perform as part of BYOP.
Bringing together 20+ artists to create a collaborative night of performance work, this immersive environment of DIY spontaneity and experimentation provided artists with a platform for non-formal display and discussion. In 2019, performers include:

BYOP is a spin-off of Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB), an international movement of DIY moving image exhibitions. BYOB was started by visual artist Rafael Rozedaal and events have been held in over 40 international cities.
Please note that registration to participate in BYOP will open 30 May. Spaces to participate will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The event is free and open to all to come along and see the work of the participating artists and performers. We invite the curious and the engaged to join us for a drink and experience this showcase of performances.
