Festive decoration making workshop
It’s time to get busy with our hands and craft some wonderful hand made treasures: like a Christmas angel, a mouse that’s made a house in a cracker, a robin for your wreath, a paper tree or a cardboard gingerbread house. These can be hung on the tree or take centre stage on your table. Felt, paper, doilies, card, pens and pencils will be waiting for you to create with.
Whether you want to sew stick, colour or collage there will be plenty of opportunity to unleash your imagination and share your holiday memories in this workshop for all ages. Artist Katherine Tulloh will help you make a lovely gift or family keepsake that you can bring out every year.

Katherine Tulloh is an artist and educator living and working in Hackney. She believes in helping young artists find their voice through experimental and imaginative projects that develop creativity in a fun way, through art and writing. She is a painter and filmmaker, winner of the Swedenborg Society’s Best Experimental Film 2010 for All Night My Dreams, which was also shown at White Cube as part of Dreamers Awake in 2020. Recent exhibitions include Snake Milk, Minkowski Space, 2020, Interior Day, Broadway Bookshop, 2020, and Sciomancy, Transition Gallery, 2017. Her work embraces narrative and explores the physicality of paint. For the Ravers (2024) at William Blake House, Soho revisited nineties rave culture and its visual echoes of early Renaissance painting, and how the city, constantly reconfigured, manifests the ghosts of these past intense dance spaces.
