This informal exhibition brings together recent paintings by Martello Street studio artists Polly Townsend and Zoe Benbow. Both women focus their work in communicating an experience of place, yet shape their own landscape through individual interpretation and perception, with the understanding that how we see and imagine the world around us determines our cultural attitude and behaviour towards it. Vastly different in their painterly approach, the duality of the show supports the value of shared community in fostering connection and dialogue.
