Join artist Jessie McLaughlin for an informal look at the show and a chance to respond through making images in different ways with cameras, drawing material and your own body.
Jessie McLaughlin is an amateur artist and footballer (no sporting ambition beyond doing excellent kick ups in the park). They work from a queer, brown (sometimes sad) perspective, foregrounding emotional experiences and proposing these as valid methods of research. Currently they are doing a PhD with Goldsmiths (University of London) and Tate and funded by ARHC researching how to queer and decolonise the space of the art museum through working with young people.
