‘The Actual Ping-Pong of the Abyss’: Comments on the History of Madness and Liberation

A doctoral researcher at The London Consortium, Wall is writing a genealogy of the use of ‘madness’ as a liberatory concept since the mid-nineteenth century. The focus of Wall’s current research is on David Cooper’s work at Villa 21 in Shenley Hospital (1962-66).
