Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 per annum, pro rata depending on experience

About the role

The Communications Manager will be responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications to ensure consistency of voice, design, and messaging across all channels and touchpoints. This includes managing the brand, creating and delivering engaging content across multiple platforms, promoting exhibitions and events, and maintaining positive relationships with our diverse audiences and stakeholders. They will champion an in person and digital accessible culture maximising the use of printed material, websites, social media platforms and other emerging technologies to strengthen audience engagement and deliver measurable results.

About you

You are an enthusiastic and proactive communications professional with a passion for the creative sector. You have proven experience in developing and delivering effective campaigns and managing projects with multiple stakeholders. You have strong digital skills, with the ability to use social media, websites and other communication tools to engage and inform diverse audiences in an accessible manner.

You are highly organised, have great attention to detail and able to work independently as well as part of a team, and can adapt to changing priorities with confidence. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners and the wider community. You are motivated by making a tangible impact, inspiring participation and promoting the positive image of SPACE in line with our values.
