The Creative Space Goes Online
Their art studio may be closed for the foreseeable future, but that hasn’t stopped participants of The Creative Space at Arlington. Regular users of the studio, set up by SPACE at Arlington homeless centre in Camden, have chosen to continue sharing and creating their artwork online. Led by artists Brian Baderman, Federico Gallo and Crestina Velia Forcina, the group have a weekly meet-up on Zoom and share their progress and get peer feedback via a WhatsApp group.
The project has been so successful that the group is planning to share a selection of its work via SPACE’s social media channels and website on a regular basis. Click through the carousel above to see some of the artwork being created.
