Jon Faragher, Between Here and Now

24 – 30 Jun 2024
Tabernacle Gallery, 35 Powis Square, off Portobello Road, London W11 2AY

Between Here and Now, the latest exhibition organised by Space Collective, responds to the architecture and history of the Tabernacle Gallery.

As artists we are interested in exploring the spaces between two entities or the place where possibilities exist to connect two separate dimensions. Here we are investigating the essence of these connections and how they are made manifest through materiality and how they may be transposed into human connections, whether that be through shared experience, similarity or difference, or simply what it means to exist in this place at this time.

Making reference to the character and the space of the Tabernacle building, each artist has created a new body of work for the show.

Founded by AAL alumni, Space Collective is a curatorial platform that investigates space as a medium in itself and what that means to each artist:  Jon Faragher, Andy Grinham, Marina Murvanidze Mitchell, Livia Spinolo and Simon Yates.

The show is open from the evening of the 24 June and continues with variable opening hours until the 30 June. By appointment weekdays, 10am to 4pm, Saturday 29 June 10am to 3pm Sunday 30 June.
