Most of SPACE’s activities, workshops, events and exhibitions take place at SPACE Ilford, 10 Oakfield Road, Ilford IG1 1ZJ.

During exhibitions, the gallery is open Wednesday 11am – 5pm and Saturday 11am – 3pm and by appointment.

Getting here
The entrance to the gallery and event space is located at the rear of Redbridge Town Hall, on the corner of Oakfield Rd and Clements Rd, and opposite Redbridge Central Library and Museum.

Bus — the following routes stop at Redbridge Central Library, opposite SPACE Ilford: 25, 123, 128, 145, 150, 167, 169, 179, 364, 366, 425, 462, 667, 677, 679, W19

Overground — the nearest station is Ilford, a 10 minute walk to SPACE Ilford. Ilford station is 10 minutes by train from Stratford and 15 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

Off-Site Paid Parking
There is paid parking available at CitiPark on Clements Road and Mildmay Road Car Park.

Parking for Disabled Visitors
There are 4 parking spaces for Blue Badge holders on nearby Chadwick Road.

Access to the Building
The main entrance to the gallery has both steps and a ramp and automatic sliding doors. The gallery and event space at Ilford are both on the ground floor and are fully wheelchair accessible.

Accessible Toilet
SPACE Ilford has one accessible toilet, situated on the ground floor. It is fitted with support handrails and an alarm cord.

Large Print
Information about exhibitions, events and facilities is available in large print and can be collected from the gallery assistant.
