Tobi Alexandra Falade is a Nigerian British visual artist creating figurative oil paintings engaging with narratives of modern Black British life and dialogues of African and post-colonial contexts. A recipient of a SPACE Artist Award 2021, Tobi currently has a one-month residency in the Ilford studio. Here she talks about her practice and how she uses her artworks to explore narratives of identity and self.
