HACKNEY short term studio share AVAILABLE
Sublet of studio in Hackney Central is available from 12th April – 31st May 2025.
The studio is on the 3rd floor of Space Studios Deborah House, and is in a great location, in-between Hackney Central and Homerton overground stations and you’d have access 24/7.
The studio is super quiet (almost silent!) at all times, has a large window and skylight (so lots of natural light), it’s warm, clean and also has central heating and strong wifi connection (good for if you’re a filmmaker and/or need to send large files). Over 6 meters of blank wall space – perfect if you’re a painter etc. I’m happy to negotiate including some of my equipment e.g. whiteboard, laser printer, monitor screen, additional desk space, if required.
The room is shared with one other lovely artist (their half of the studio is not pictured), You will have access to the kitchen area we share between us, which includes a kettle, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a shared sink close-by on the floor with hot water, and clean toilets nearby too. Secure bike storage downstairs.
Really good value for money, especially for the area – trust me I looked at so many before I found this gem! Get in touch if you’re interested and happy to negotiate the length of your let.

Owned by SPACE since 2010 but leased and occupied by SPACE artists since the 90s, Deborah House has undergone a substantial revamp in 2014. Re-designed by Sarah Wigglesworth architects, SPACE has added a new floor, a sedum roof and has refurbished the existing three floors to a high standard. Now with central heating and wifi, there is a total of 48 studios. Deborah House is in central Hackney close to the Town Hall and Hackney Central overground station. Many bus routes pass close by in Mare Street.
