A caring “stitch & sew” event for Elm Breast Care Centre, King George Hospital
Come and make pretty and practical tote bags for women in our local area who are facing life-changing surgery at the Elm Breast Care Centre. No sewing experience required.
Show your support for women at Elm Breast Care Centre, King George Hospital, Redbridge by making simple and useful tote bags for carrying ‘wound drainage equipment’ after surgery and early transfer home.
This half day workshop is a great way to get involved with your local community, to share, learn and interact socially on a project that shows we care for women in our local area facing breast cancer and who have experienced life-changing surgery.
This session will help increase awareness of the importance of Breast Screening services, which Elm Breast Care Centre provide.
The bags you design and create will be donated to the Elm Breast Care Centre after the workshop.
“Receiving a handmade bag made with love is emotionally appreciated when facing surgical challenges.”
