Celebrate the season with this family-friendly festive workshop, guided by artists Linzie Hunter and Jill Tytherliegh. Create your own bird-themed garland or standalone tree decoration to take home. Cut, stick, colour, and draw using our Scandi-inspired motifs or explore your own designs. Open to all ages, this relaxed, hands-on session is a chance to explore pattern, play with materials, and make something special to decorate your home or give as a gift.

Linzie Hunter is an award-winning Scottish illustrator and hand-lettering artist based in South London. She is the creator of What If, Pig? (HarperCollins) and the illustrator of the Astrid Lindgren edition of Little People, Big Dreams. Linzie’s work, known for its cute characters and playful design, has appeared in books, magazines, toys, packaging, and creative campaigns around the world.

Jill Tytherliegh is a British Filipino illustrator based in South East London. She has collaborated on a number of exciting projects with prestigious UK and international clients such as Harrods, Ted Baker, Linley, Daylesford Organic and Thomson Cruises. Her work has been applied in architecture, window installation, editorial pieces, book covers and packaging. 

Jill creates black and white ink drawings with a quintessential Britishness. Her work is heavily based on traditional drawing which embraces detail with a confident line and texture. Jill’s personal and sketchbook work is vibrant and colourful and has delved into themes of food, family, nostalgia and traditional culture influenced by her Filipino heritage.

Jill and Linzie share a studio in Peckham and together collaborate on art workshops and live drawing events.
