Marianne Holm Hansen and Alex Julyan Turning With — Space

Marianne Holm Hansen and Alex Julyan will occupy the Pop Up space to examine what happens when they enter into conversation through material practice. Working with the space as an active participant — alongside, amongst, and against the friction of each other’s disparate material languages, they will pay close attention to how meaning interacts, clashes, emerges and evolves. 

Occasionally coming together to collectively read the conversation as it unfolds, each will work independently, responding to the material traces and interventions — (as) statements, questions, or ideas — left by her predecessor.
