This two day workshop facilitated by KALEID editions will give you the hands on experience required to work with online publishing tools combined with InDesign templates to produce a printed matter publication, bespoke to each individual attendee. 

Blurb is currently the international online favourite, supporting small publishers and individuals through print on demand at an affordable price per unit. InDesign is the professional software employed by graphic designers and the creative industry to produce printed matter and interactive PDFs. During the weekend you will benefit from the peer review of the group and the one to one support of the trainer. 

You are required to bring your own images and text as a digital files to layout, proof and sign off a publication no larger than a 32 page publication.

KALEID editions represents European based artists who do books and advocates public collections. Established in 2009, KALEID editions facilitates workshops, curates interdisciplinary exhibitions and coordinates events, in order to select the best of artists' books to represent at the London Art Book Fair. 

General
Each student has their own workstation for the practical parts of the course and can discuss any specific areas of interest they may have towards the end of the day with the tutor.
