Barking Malthouse

The Malthouse and Granary buildings are former Victorian warehouses brought into use by London Thames Gateway Development Corporation (LTGDC), as the centre of a new creative quarter in Barking for arts, theatre and design companies.

SPACE was appointed by London Thames Gateway Development Corporation, following a competitive tender, to be the cultural managers of the Barking Creative Industries Quarter, from December 2007. Tenants to date at The Malthouse have included:
