12–16 October, by appointment

Sharing the process of my residency in King’s Lynn, where I adopted a former Workers’ Club as my studio. The Wash residency with Groundwork Gallery enabled me to explore deep feelings conjured by the landscape, mysteries around my Lincolnshire ancestors, labour and trades past, present and future.

The exhibition and publication feature new paintings, drawings and archival material presented in a unique setting. Bouncing between ancient figures and portraits of young professionals today, drawn with Sharpie pens on locally sourced plastic sheeting, the work considers the culture and future of a fascinating, under-appreciated place.

Publication and cards available to order.

Coincides with the Groundwork Gallery exhibition opening on 10 October, 4:30–7pm.

Location: King’s Lynn Old Workers’ Club, 23 Church St, PE30 5EB
