InProcess Residency Artist Minna Långstrom

SPACE Art + Technology, The Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki and the Saastamoinen Foundation are pleased to announce Minna Långström as the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki alumni artist in residence for 2019-2020.

Minna Långström works across moving image, documentation and installation to study science imagery and world views.

Responding to this year’s theme ‘alternative futures’, Långström will be in residence from September – December 2019, undertaking research for her project The Truth Serum. Långström’s project will consider questions of creativity on the one hand and conformation on the other in the age of social media, as well as questions of mediated truths and representation in national narratives.
