About Oakfield Road

SPACE opened 35 studios for artists, makers and creative businesses in Redbridge Town Hall, Ilford in 2019.

The studios are on the third and fourth floors of the Town Hall but please note that although there is lift access, however it is not fully DDA compliant.

Note: You may notice on our FAQs and Terms and Conditions that in our normal letting of artists’ studios we use a criterion of length of time registered with SPACE. We’re aware that people in Redbridge have not had an opportunity to rent with SPACE before, and we are not expecting any Redbridge residents to be pre-registered with SPACE. Prior registration with SPACE will not be one of the criteria for allocating the Redbridge spaces as we are hoping to attract Redbridge area artists to the studios.

If you are allocated a space we will ask you to register at this stage, alongside signing the tenancy agreement.
