Focus – Next: Residency Announcement

SPACE Art + Technology is delighted to announce the artists for the 2018/2019 residency Focus – Next. Artists have been selected based on their projects response to the theme of artificial intelligence, looking at how AI is shaping what it means to be human in the digital age. The artists on this year’s programme will be exploring topics from ethical digital representation to life and death within the technological realm and what it means to replicate the human voice in an age of deepfake possibilities.

The Art +Technology team is looking forward to welcoming the artists to SPACE Mare Street, which will be the base for their residency. All artists will be invited to create a workshop as part of the residency, as well as showcasing the outcome of their research in April 2019.
