Digital Futures: Rebooting The Digital Commons

Rebooting the Digital Commons, which coincides with the ‘All of This Belongs to You’ exhibition at the V&A, is looking to explore how open technologies and opensource communities are driving civic awareness, innovation and social change.
The event will also explore how art, design and technology define society, civic identity and reinvent the public space.
The session consists of an artist showcase followed by a panel discussion.
V&A Digital Futures is a monthly meetup and open platform for displaying and discussing of work by researchers, artists, designers, companies and other professionals working with art, technology, design, science and beyond. It is also a networking event, bringing together people from different backgrounds and disciplines with a view to generating and future collaborations.

Since October 2014 the V&A Digital Futures programme is being co-curated by SPACE and hosted at The White Building. The White Building, run by SPACE, is an incubator for discursive and innovative thought, it serves as a testing ground and creative lab for artists and creatives whose work engages with technology.
