School’s (Not Quite) Out For Summer

Schools are invited to participate in artist-led workshops using art and technology to explore the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and its ecologies.

The annual programme:
−      Focuses on art and technology
−      Provides an inspiring, fun, learning environment
−      Benefits children in transition from junior to secondary school, and can be tailored to other ages
−      Helps children develop valuable new creative and personal skills
−      Takes place at SPACE’s White Building in Hackney Wick, and uses the Park as an outdoor classroom
−      Has a public outcome or exhibition.

Initiated by SPACE in partnership with The Legacy List in 2013, the Summer School engages 350 children with artists and technologists, and takes place in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and at SPACE’s in Hackney Wick. It is supported by the Foundation For Future London.
