IASPIS Residency #2: Jacob Stenman
1 Sep – 24 Nov 2013
Jacob Stenman (SE) is an artist and designer whose work explores the limits of freedom in the urban public space.
Stenman studies the physical design of objects and their relationship to their users, as a means to test and explore the boundaries and possibilities of ‘design’ in the public sphere.
During his residency, Stenman will develop a series of objects for the public realm. The project developed by the artist includes a series of objects located within public streets, which become activated by the incidental interaction of the passer-by.
Jacob Stenman’s residency is generously supported by IASPIS.
